Or do you mean Windows natively recognizes it? Hello John, thanks for your answer! The problem before is that the Broadcom USH effectively hides the fingerprint reader from the system, thus severely restricting it’s functionality unless the supplied software is used, which itself is pathetic.

I read somewhere that you need the TPM chip enabled to use the fingerprint reader, tried that w/swwipe it did nothing for me. It’s a shame though, this notebook cost me 1.
